We moved home last year and left Instructions etc. for the buyer.
While we were using it, apart from installing new batteries we had no problems and of course it provided peace of mind when we were on holiday. The only thing which would be good if it were possible to have it powered from the mains rather than battery.
A very worthwhile bit of kit.
